Captain Fred Price

I was born the oldest of three sons in near by Roanoke, VA.  I have always been highly competitive, playing all the sports, excelling in baseball.  Even today, coaching and playing competitive softball.

Spent three years in US Army as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division stateside and two tours in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division.

After thirty years in the insurance industry, had the opportunity to retire early and pursue my passion = FISHING.  I realized my dream in 1998 when I received my Coast Guard License to guide on Smith Mountain Lake.

What could be finer than enjoying a beautiful sunrise on one of the east coast premier Lakes, while fishing for striped bass?  Hoping to see you on my boat soon.
